Boulanger, Jeanette

-

Jeanette Boulanger, 92, of Newington, the beloved wife of the late Raymond Boulanger, died Tuesday, July 13, 2021, with her family by her side. Jeanette was born in Fairfield, Maine to the late Justine (Lapierre) and Amedee Pouliot and was one of 13 siblings. She resided in Newington for most of her life. Her early years were highlighted by her Catholic education and her special mentor, Sr. Florentine, whose lessons stayed with her throughout her life. She met and married the love of her life, Raymond, in 1947 and they shared 50 years together

before his passing. As they worked hard for decades to provide a beautiful life for their two daughters, their work ethic never wavered. Jeanette was a communicant of Church of the Holy Spirit, enjoyed a passion for travel, golf, social clubs, card games, and her Boston

Red Sox. She spent her years volunteering with several organizations and often times took on leadership roles to encourage others to follow suit. Jeanette had a

strong connection with her friends and always enjoyed a good social event and entertaining at her home. Above all else, her love and pride for her family was strong. Jeanette's ethics she shared with her mother and siblings - the importance of family - were evident in the way she lived her life. Her true joy came from her grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her love

and dedication to them were immeasurable. Jeanette leaves behind her devoted daughter, Susan (Boulanger)

Botticello and her husband, William Botticello of Clermont, FL formally of West Hartford, CT, and her devoted grandchildren Marisa (Botticello) Deluca of Winter Garden, FL and Byron Botticello of West Hartford, CT. Her great-granddaughters Isabella and Gianna Deluca of Winter Garden, FL. She also leaves behind her devoted daughter, Laurie-rae (Boulanger) Lallier and her husband, Gregg Lallier of Chester, CT and her adoring grandsons William, Raymond and Joseph Lallier of Chester, CT. She leaves behind her siblings Norman

Pouliot of Milford and Mrs. Laura Tolisano of Branford as well as many nieces and nephews. Jeanette was predeceased by her sisters, Bernadette P. Frakl, Francis La Voie, Irene Frantianni, Antionette La Brec, Simone Zollo and Cecile Kelley; as well as her brothers, Roland, Ferdinand, Albert, and George Pouliot. The family would like to thank the employees at Aaron Manor Chester for their love, compassion and support to Jeanette and family, especially during this past year in the final stages of her life. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Holy Spirit, 183 Church St., Newington.

Following the Mass, Jeanette will be laid to rest at West Meadow Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. Duksa Family Funeral Homes at Newington Memorial has care of the arrangements. To share a memory with Jeanette's family, please visit www.duksa.net.
