Duncan, John Francis

John Francis Duncan, 60, of Torrington, formerly of Simsbury, passed away Friday, September 17th, 2021. Born in Hartford, November 24, 1960, he was the son of the late Ronald S. and Nancy (Hall) Duncan. John was a graduate of Simsbury High School, Class of 1979 and Colorado State University. John had a love for the outdoors, enjoying mountain biking, hiking and especially

skiing. He had a great passion for skiing the mountains of Colorado and Vermont with his family and friends. He is survived by his son, Jacob R. Duncan of Simsbury, his brother, Mark Duncan and his wife Diane and their children, Michael, Matthew and Kyle all of Michigan, his aunt and godmother, Placeda D. Hall of West Hartford, his uncle, Britt Hall and his wife Daisy of Meriden, his cousins, Susan Lynch, Kelly Hall and Kerry Hall all of West Hartford, Shaun Hall of Branford and his stepmother, Janet Duncan of Granby. He was predeceased by his aunt, Charlotte Duncan, his uncle, Dr. Frank M. Hall and his cousin, Traci Hall.

Friends may call at The Ahern Funeral Home, 111 Main St., Rt. 4, Unionville on Friday (Sept. 24) from 4:007:00pm. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
