Waterbury man slain in shooting
WATERBURY — A man was killed in a shooting in the city early on Mother’s Day, police said.
Police responded about 1:29 a.m. Sunday to reports of shots fired in the 100 block of Willow Street. When officers arrived, they found a 32-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, according to the Waterbury Police Department.
He was taken by ambulance to Waterbury Hospital where he was pronounced dead just after 2 a.m., police said.
