Yost, Kay L (Pierce)

Kay Louise (Pierce) Yost, 84, of West Hartford, CT, died Monday, May 9, 2022. She was born on January 31, 1938 in Lebanon, OR. Kay moved to West Hartford in 1969 to raise her family. She worked as an executive secretary at various insurance companies in the greater Hartford area. Kay moved to Scottsdale, AZ to spend her retirement years in the warmer climate. She loved her cats and she enjoyed bike riding, gardening, and singing in her church choir.

Kay leaves her three children, Melinda and her husband, Don, David and his wife, Elise, and Dan and his wife, Sandy as well as seven grandchildren. She also leaves her sister, Maggie and her husband, John Huntley and their children in Oregon.

The family will be holding a private memorial service at a time to be determined. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Connecticut Humane Society.
