Uconn baseball downs Bryant

Ben Huber hit two homers and the Uconn baseball team tied the program mark for victories in a season with a 9-2 nonconference win Tuesday at Bryant in Smithfield, R.I.

The Huskies, ranked 16th in the nation, are now 43-10 with a threegame series at Georgetown left to play in the regular season.

David Smith had four hits, his fifth straight game with more than one. Cole Chudoba started and went five innings to improve to 3-1.
