In a memoir Anne

Heche worked on over the past year, the actor shared candid thoughts on her relationship with Ellen Degeneres in the late 1990s, when they were among Hollywood’s first openly gay couples.

“I was labeled ‘outrageous’ because I fell in love with a woman. I had never been with a woman before I dated Ellen,” Heche wrote in “Call Me Anne,” which Start Publishing has scheduled for January.

Heche, whose films included “Donnie Brasco” and “Wag the Dog,” died Aug. 14 at age 53 after a car crash in Los Angeles.

In her lifetime, Heche said that Hollywood effectively blacklisted her because of her being with Degeneres, who around the same time made television history by having her character in the sitcom “Ellen” come out as gay.

Start recently shared an excerpt from the sequel to Heche’s 2001 memoir “Call Me Crazy.”

The book’s publisher, Jarred Weisfeld, says that he signed a deal with Heche in May and that she had turned in a manuscript shortly before she died. She also wrote about having Harrison Ford as a mentor, along with stories about Alec Baldwin, Ivan Reitman and Oliver Stone, among others.

Heche had mentioned writing a memoir during a podcast earlier this year, in which she promised that “some of the truths” about her and Degeneres would be included.

Wendy Williams’ health struggles continue, with the TV and radio host taking steps to seek care.

“Wendy has entered a wellness facility seeking help to manage her overall health issues,” her publicist said in a recent statement. “She is taking some time to focus on her health and wellness as she prepares for a major comeback.”

The next phase of Williams’ career, following the end of her talk show this past June, is expected to be “The Wendy Experience Podcast,” which she has teased on social media.

Williams has dealt with continuing health issues including Graves’ disease and other thyroid concerns, as well as lymphedema, which was causing her feet and legs to swell. She also contracted COVID-19 last year.

Branch, Carney suspend divorce: Singer-songwriter Michelle Branch and Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney will not be moving forward with their divorce proceedings — for now.

The singer, who filed the initial divorce petition, initiated the official split in August amid allegations of infidelity and her arrest for domestic assault. (She has since been cleared.)

According to court documents, Judge Phillip Robinson signed off on the couple’s order of reconciliation — a request to suspend their divorce proceedings without prejudice — for six months. During that time, the musicians are set to undergo counseling. Once that’s over, they will decide if they want to proceed with the divorce.
