-

Tom Brady threw for 351 yards and a touchdown, helping the Tampa Bay Buccaneers end a two-game losing streak with a 21-15 victory over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday

Brady completed 35 of 52 passes without an interception, avoiding his first threegame losing streak since 2002, when he was with the New England Patriots. Leonard Fournette scored two TDS for the Bucs (3-2) on a 1-yard run and a 1-yard reception.

A boy ran onto the field after Fournette’s first TD and was tackled hard by a security guard at the opposite end of the field. Police said there would be no charges and no arrest was made.

Chargers 30, Browns 28: Rookie Cade York missed a 54-yard FG with 11 seconds left, and the Chargers held on for the road win despite coach Brandon Staley gambling on a fourth down. With his team at its own 46 and leading by two, Staley had Justin Herbert attempt a short pass on fourth-and-2 that fell incomplete, giving the ball back to the Browns with 1:10 left.

Jets 40, Dolphins 17: Michael Carter scored on a pair of 1-yard TD runs as the host Jets ended a 12-game skid against AFC East opponents. QB Zach Wilson, Breece Hall and Braxton Berrios also rushed for scores to help the Jets to their first 3-2 start since 2017.

Vikings 29, Bears 22: Kirk Cousins scored on a 1-yard sneak with 2:26 left to give the host Vikings the win and first place alone in the NFC North. Justin Jefferson had a career-high 12 catches for 154 yards and caught a 2-point conversion pass to push the lead to seven.

Bills 38, Steelers 3: Josh Allen threw four TD passes as the Bills scored 31 points in the first half and rolled to the win. The visiting Steelers suffered their fourth straight loss. Rookie Kenny Pickett, the Steelers’ first-round pick out of Pitt, finished 34 of 52 for 327 yards and an INT in his first start.

Patriots 29, Lions 0: Rookie Bailey Zappe, filling in for injured Pats QB Mac Jones, threw a TD pass in his first career start and Rhamondre Stevenson rushed for a career-high 161 yards in the win at home.

Saints 39, Seahawks 32:

Taysom Hill ran for three TDS, including a 60-yard score in the fourth quarter and threw for another TD as the host Saints snapped a three-game skid.

Titans 21, Commanders 17: Derrick Henry rushed for 102 yards and a TD and the visiting Titans made a last-minute goal-line stand to secure the victory.

Texans 13, Jaguars 6:

Dameon Pierce ran for 99 yards and a TD, a score set up by the rookie’s 20-yard gain in which he broke six tackles, and the Texans extended their winning streak over the host Jags to nine in claiming their first victory of the season.

49ers 37, Panthers 15: Jimmy Garoppolo threw for 253 yards and two TDS, Emmanuel Moseley returned an INT 41 yards for a score and the 49ers earned their first road win.
