Virginia "Ginny" (Hussey) Robinson, of Hanson, Massachuse­tts, formerly of Bloomfield, CT, went home to be with the Lord on December 21 at the All-american Assisted Living facility in Hanson, MA after a long illness.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA in 1947 to Virginia and David Hussey, she graduated from Concordia College in Morehead, MN with a B.A. in Choral Music followed by a M.A. Degree from Northweste­rn University in Evanston, IL with an additional degree in Choral Music.

Ginny was a music teacher and choral director at three different high schools; North Adams HS in North Adams, MA, Liberty HS in South Carolina and Northwest Catholic HS in West Hartford, CT where she spent most of her career. She loved music and having the opportunit­y to work with children. She won special awards in choral competitio­ns and she was able to produce two choral tapes/records each year with her choirs. Her students loved her and appreciate­d and respected all that they learned from her knowledge of music. She played the piano and the organ and was the church organist for several churches over her many years. She was also a member of the Concordia Choir of MN, under the direction of Paul J. Christians­on.

She was the wife for forty-six years to her beloved late husband, Gordon F. Robinson, a mechanical engineer in the Hartford, CT area. She and her husband served the Lord throughout their lives together.

She leaves behind her brother David Hussey and his wife Sarah of Weymouth, MA, two beloved nephews, Paul and his wife Jen of Rotterdam, NY and John and his wife April of Colorado Springs, CO, three great nephews and three great nieces, her brother-in-law Steven Robinson of Hawaii, a dear life-long friend, Sue Clambey of MN, and many dear members of staff at the All-american Assisted Living Facility of Hanson and Old Colony Hospice, who attended her compassion­ately. Funeral services will be private, followed by a luncheon

at a local restaurant in the Bloomfield area with close friends of the family.
