A generous and kind person she leaves her daughter Lisa Pagliaro and her partner Paul Bruno, her daughter Karen Pagliaro and her husband Eric Cope, her grandson Taylor Cope and his fiancée Amanda Gladue and her grandson Dr. Ethan Cope and his girlfriend Jane Larson.

Elsie was born in Hartford, moving to New Britain at an early age where she grew up in a home filled with laughter, love, amazing Italian food and her dad's homemade wine. At the age of 15 she met the love of her life, Chet. After Chet was drafted into the Korean Conflict and stationed in Georgia, they could not bear to be separated, so they married in January 1952 and settled in Georgia. Upon his discharge, they made their home on Clinton St. in New Britain, a neighborhood rich in good friends and relatives. In 1972 they moved to their beautiful home in Newington.

Elsie was a long time employee at the Stanley Works. Always one to put her heart and soul into her job, her co-workers showed their respect for her work ethic and voted her in as their Union Representative, a role which she held for 14 years.

An outstanding cook, Elsie enjoy feeding her family deliciously prepared Italian dishes and desserts She always made her own sauce and never bought a jar of sauce in her life.

Elsie was blessed with many wonderful friends and enjoyed every minute that she spent with them. She will miss the joy that Sandy, Rosie and Christina brought to her.

Elsie is now in heaven with her husband Chet and enjoying the company of her sisters, Millie Spranzo, Mary Palmer, Eva Carlino and her brothers Ralphie and Albert Spranzo. She is hugging her friend Arlene Del Biondo and sharing stories with her cousins Barbara Lautenbach and Gloria Delaney.

Aside from her daughters, she leaves behind her two loving sisters Lucy Agostinucci and Betty Cavanaugh, her cousin Michael Magnano and his wife Nancy, her Goddaughters Lanette Macaruso, Rita Speranza and Dale Del Biondo Gibbs plus a host of nieces and nephews.
