Rinaldi, Daniel

Daniel Rinaldi, 91 of New Britain, left the rest of us here on Earth to be reunited with the “love of his life” Evelyn who passed Feb. 24, 2017. He will be dearly missed by his children Joann Rinaldi, Patricia (John) Crisafulli and David (Jerrilyn) Rinaldi and grandchildren, Matthew, Mallory, Zachary, Michael, and Nicholas. He is predeceased by his parents Donato & Theresa and his sister Rose. Born in Dunmore, PA, attended the local high school, graduated from Dunmore High School, sworn into the Navy during the Korean Conflict. After being discharged, he met and married Evelyn, started his family and moved to New Britain, CT to work at Pratt & Whitney in East Hartford in the publication department.

He continued his UTC career at the fuel cell division Power System in South Windsor where he retired from in 1991. He spent the last 25 years spoiling his grandkids every chance he got. He is so proud of the adults they have grown into. Family would like to extend deep thank you to Jenny, Stefania, Lucy and Andy for their help.

Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, February 3rd, from 9:30 am to 11:30 am at the Duksa Family Funeral Homes at Burritt Hill, 332 Burritt St., New Britain. Daniel's funeral service will follow the visitation at 11:30am. He will be laid to rest in Sacred Heart Cemetery besides his wife Evelyn.
