Cheryl Ann Pobutkiewi­cz, 65, of East Hartford, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Saturday, February 11, 2023. Born in Hartford on September 15, 1957, Cheryl grew up in Glastonbur­y and was the daughter of the late Kenneth Pollard and Louise (Abalan) Pollard.

Cheryl was predecease­d by her beloved husband, Frank Pobutkiewi­cz, in June of 2022. Frank and Cheryl were soul mates for 32 years and were the love of each other's lives. Cheryl will be forever missed by her daughter Jennifer Januska and husband Steve of East Hartford; her son Kenneth Cardini and wife Amanda of Enfield and stepdaught­er Katherine Grabowski and husband Bryan of Clearmont, Florida. She also leaves behind four adored grandchild­ren, Nina and Kal-el Januska and Alaina and Landon Cardini. Cheryl is survived by her brother Michael Pollard and wife Julie of Farmington, her sister Cynthia Roach and husband Mike of Glastonbur­y along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, great nieces and nephews and countless friends. Cheryl was also predecease­d by her brother Mark Pollard of Florida.

Cheryl was a claims adjuster for many years with Amica Insurance prior to her retirement in 2009. Her family, friends and love of music were her greatest joys in life. You would often find her singing her heart out at karaoke every week at her favorite spot, The Pub in South Windsor. After her retirement, Cheryl spent most of her time with family that included time with her grandchild­ren and traveling with her husband and friends on special trips and cruises. Cheryl also loved spoiling their princess shih tzu, Angel who her and Frank loved dearly. Cheryl was truly the most kind, caring, and loving person who would selflessly do anything for anyone. She will be deeply missed by all her family and friends.
