Brown, Phyllis A.

Phyllis Alice Brown, 75, of Glastonbury, CT received her Angel wings February 21, 2023 after a courageous battle with Alzheimer's. Phyllis was born November 3, 1947 in Hartford, Connecticut to Hugh and Janet Brown. She is preceded in death by her parents Hugh and Janet Brown and brother, Robert Brown. Phyllis leaves behind her sister Barbara Brown Lewis, her husband, Steven and son, Alexander Lewis; sister-in-law; Joanne Brown, nephews Casey, and Riley Brown; her three children; Melanie Deloreto, Louis Deloreto, and his wife, Amanda; Lisa Chartier, and her husband, Steven. Her favorite role was being, “GRUM” to her eight grandchildren; Jordan Bridges, and partner, Kayla Eccleston, Jayla Bridges, Jack and Liam Deloreto, Colin and Parker Chartier; great grandchildren; Hayden Eccleston and Jameson Bridges. First and foremost, it was her dedication as a mother and to her family that gave her the greatest joy. Spending time with her children and grandchildren always put a smile on her face, and filled her heart with love while reminding them always, “I love you more!” Her lifelong friends were truly life treasures. Afternoon coffee with her neighborhood friends meant so much. Phyllis loved to travel to places, near and far with her dear friend Candy (Bon Bon) Veilleux. She loved hosting holidays and creating lasting memories with family and friends. All were welcome with open arms. The life of Phyllis Brown was filled with love and laughter. We will remember her beautiful smile and loving heart.
