Dolores Marie (Vallario) Delciampo, 87, beloved wife of the late John Delciampo, passed away on March 20, 2023 at her home in Berlin after a long illness with her family by her side. Dolores was born in Hartford and was the only child of Mary (Michelina) Dimanno Vallario and Joseph Vallario. She graduated from Bulkeley High School and Hartford Secretaria­l School. She was employed by Henry C. Dwight School, Oak Hill School for the Blind, and later retired from the Hartford Courant Human Resource Department.

Dolores leaves behind her children Donna (Stanley) Konvent, Joseph (Mary) Delciampo, Mark (Angela) Delciampo, and Pamela Delciampo (Ronald Bamforth), along with 10 grandchild­ren and 11 great grandchild­ren. She has many cousins of whom she cherished and many friends that she called family. She also leaves behind a very special friend, Lieutenant Colonel Charles Alex and his wonderful family.

Dolores' family would like to express their love and extreme gratitude to Sylvia Perkins, her caretaker for the past seven years. Her kindness, love, compassion and prayers will never be forgotten.

Dolores had a deep passion for every form of music and was a former member of the Church of Incarnatio­n Choir, past member of the Greater Hartford Community College Glee club partnered with her daughter Pamela, and was a wonderful keyboard player in her own right. She loved to dance and played several instrument­s. She was also a past member of the Elks Women's Emblem Club.

Family and friends are invited for a time of visitation on Thursday, March 23 from 4-7 p.m. at the D'esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd., Wethersfie­ld. Funeral services will begin on Friday, March 24 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon at the Church of the Incarnatio­n, 544 Prospect St. Wethersfie­ld. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
