Frank Borchetta, 88, of Windsor Locks, beloved husband of the late Jane (Pastormerl­o) Borchetta, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, March 21, 2023. He was born in Greenwich, CT on February 17, 1935. Frank honorably served his country in the United States Air Force. A long time resident of Windsor Locks, he was a teacher for over 50 years. He taught at Windsor Locks High School until his retirement in 2016, and later at Asnuntuck Community College. Frank also was an active parishione­r of Mary Gate Heaven Parish; he taught religious education for 50 years, directed the Youth Choir for 25 years, and was the last surviving member of the first St Mary's Parish Council. Frank was a 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus, and an avid Yankee fan.

He leaves behind his son, David Borchetta and his wife Theresa of Windsor Locks; his daughter Theresa Ann Borchetta of Madison, and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. In addition to his beloved wife Jane, Frank was predecease­d by his parents, Charles Borchetta his biological father, stepfather Dominick Labruzza, and Virginia (Servidio) Borchetta Labruzza; his brother, Bill Borchetta, and his sister, Geraldine Butterfiel­d.

Frank's family will receive relatives and friends from 5 to 7 pm on Monday, March 27, 2023 at the Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring St., Windsor Locks. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 52 S Elm St. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
