Reglinski, Clifford J.
Clifford J. Reglinski, 78, of East Hartford, loving, and dedicated husband of the late Gail Ann (Pfeifer) Reglinski, passed away, on Thursday, October 26, 2023. Cliff was born on September 26, 1945, in Webster, Massachusetts, one of two sons of the late Joseph F. Reglinski Sr. and Cecelia (Biernat) Reglinski. He was raised in Webster, attended local schools and was a 1964 graduate of Bartlett High School.
Cliff enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard in 1964, and proudly served his country during the Vietnam War until his honorable discharge in 1968. He began his forty-two-year career in 1968 with Pratt & Whitney Aircraft in the Quality Assurance Department, until his retirement in 2010. Cliff was a former Communicant of St. Christopher Church in East Hartford. More recently, he attended St. Bernard Church in Rockville. He was a member of American Legion Post #14 in Vernon, a life member of the Association of the U.S. Army, a life member of the NRA and a member of the East Windsor Sportsman Club.
Cliff and Gail had traveled to Hawaii, Fiji and many trips to their favorite vacation spot, Virginia Beach. Cliff was a very kind and giving man. He had a natural wit and unique sense of humor that left a lifetime of memories that will always bring smiles through the tears. What made Cliff most special was the fact that he seemed to have no idea how truly special he was.
Cliff is survived by his brother-in-law and two sisters-inlaw, Gary and Debbie Pfeifer and Karen Pfeifer-forand all of Vernon, a nephew, Paul Pfeifer and his spouse Francee of Stockbridge, MI, a niece, Tracie Johnson and her spouse, Jerrad of Coventry, a niece, Vicki Pfeifer of Central, SC, a nephew, Timothy Goetz and his spouse, Rachel of South Windsor, all their families and many wonderful friends and co-workers. In addition to his beloved wife and parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Joseph F. Reglinski Jr.
All are welcome to attend calling hours at the Laddturkington & Carmon Funeral Home, 551 Talcottville Road in Vernon on Thursday, November 2, 2023, from 9:30-10:30 am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at St. Bernard Church, 25 St. Bernard Terrace in Rockville. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Bernard Cemetery in Rockville.in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Connecticut Humane Society.
