Weber, Robert M.

Robert M. Weber 76 of Plainville, CT was called home unexpectedly on the evening of Sunday, December 24, 2023 at home. Robert “Bob,” “Buzzball,” “Bobby,” was the son of the late Edward and Marion (Varhol) Weber.

Robert is reunited with his parents and beloved wife Christine “Tina” Weber (Konkosky).

Robert leaves behind his daughter Traci Fournier (Weber) and son Michael Weber. He leaves 4 loving grandchildren Shannon Ross (Weber), Jacob (Sarah) Fournier, Allisa (Geoffrey) Magisano and Jaydon Fournier behind. His great grandchildren: Gino Magisano, Daniel, Rayland and Arabella Fournier, Kaden Weber and Abby Ross who were all his pride and joy. Robert also leaves behind many friends and a longtime girlfriend Adrienne “Andy” Sanders. He was born and raised in New Britain, a graduate of New Britain High, Class of 1965. He moved to raise his family in Southington and then retired in Plainville.

Robert was a proud Veteran in the Vietnam War serving in the US Air Force. He worked many retail and autobody jobs over the years and retired many years ago. He was passionate about cars and car shows, but family was the most important to him; he did everything with his grandchildren. His daughter was his life. He loved baseball, was an avid New York Yankees fan, he enjoyed mall walking, going to Lake Compounce and meeting friends for coffee at Mcdonalds.

Calling hours will be held Monday (January 8, 2024) 5 to 7 PM at Carlson Funeral Home, 45 Franklin Square, New Britain. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday (January 9, 2024) 10:30 AM DIRECTLY at St. Peter's Church, 98 Franklin Square, New Britain. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Memorial donations may be made to St. Peters Church, c/o St. Jerome Church, 1010 Slater Road, New Britain, CT 06053.
