Cheryl Ann Chagnon, 60, of Windsor, was reunited in peaceful bliss with her late husband and the love of her life, Richard P. Chagnon, on Thursday, January 4, 2024. Cheryl was born in Hartford, the daughter of Robert and Muriel (Beaule) Prince, and graduated from Windsor High School. She then went on to receive her associate degree from Mitchell College. Cheryl was currently employed as a paraprofes­sional in the Windsor Public School System, working at Sage Park Middle School for the past 25 years. Cheryl leaves a legacy of beautiful memories that will live in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, Cheryl leaves to celebrate her memory, her children, who have an ache in their hearts with her passing, Jordan Sanchez and her husband Corey of Windsor and Christophe­r Chagnon of Windsor; her beloved grandson, who knew her as Gigi, Lucas Evan; her siblings, Brian Prince and his wife Michelle and Brenda Dorn and her husband Charles; her mother-in-law, Dale Chagnon; sisters-in-law, Sharon Liss and Denise Mackey; her nieces, Nicole (Rahul) Sharma, Larisa Dorn, and Kristen Dorn; nephews, Robert Liss, Jr., Justin Liss, and Sean Mackey; as well as her great nephew, Aarav Sharma. She also leaves behind many cousins who she was very close with; as well as dear friends, colleagues, and students who will miss her dearly. In addition to her husband, she was predecease­d by her brother-in-law, Robert Liss.

She will be remembered and cherished the most for the unconditio­nal love she gave to everyone and the willingnes­s to help anyone at anytime for anything

Her family will receive friends on Friday, January 12, 4-7 p.m., at the Lodge Community Chapel, 130 Deerfield Rd., Windsor. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, January 13, 11 a.m., at St. Damien of Molokai Parish, St. Joseph Church, 1747 Poquonock Ave., Windsor. Burial will be private.
