Muller, Carl F.
Carl F. Muller, 91, of South Windsor beloved husband of Marjorie (Wilson) Muller, died peacefully on Thursday, January 18, 2024, at Manchester Memorial Hospital. He was born in Beaver Falls, PA, son of the late Carl and Matilda (Kroner) Muller. He lived in Darlington, PA before moving to Connecticut.
Carl was a great outdoorsman. He enjoyed camping, boating, hunting, and fishing. He was an excellent handyman and could fix just about anything. An avid pilot, he owned and flew a Piper Tri-pacer aircraft. Carl was a military veteran and served in the U.S. Army. He attended the Pittsburgh Institute of Aeronautics. Carl worked around 35 years for Pratt & Whitney in the Experimental Department before retiring. He like target shooting and was a member of the NRA and the East Windsor Sportsman's Club. Carl was very interested in metal detecting and was a member of the Yankee Territory Coinshooters Club.
Along with his wife, Marjorie of South Windsor, he leaves his daughter, Deborah J. Muller of South Windsor, and his nephew, Fred Muller of Washington state. He was predeceased by his brother, Herman Muller.
His family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 30, 2024, from 10-11 am at the Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home, 419 Buckland Rd., South Windsor. A funeral service will follow in the funeral home beginning at 11am. A burial with Military Honors will follow at Wapping Cemetery in South Windsor.
