Sandra Ross, born July 15, 1935 in Hartford, CT to Harry and Dora Tobin Rosenblum died at her home in New Canaan Tuesday February 14. She is survived by her loving and dedicated daughter Tamar Ross and her nephews Jeffrey, Ricky and David Ross and loving cousins. Besides her parents she was predecease­d by her son Judah , her brother Larry Ross and ex-husband Nathan Schwartz.

Sandra attended Hall High School in West Hartford followed by studying psychology at University of Miami under renowned Professor Granville Fisher. Also attended Bard College before moving to Zurich, Switzerlan­d to study at the Jungian Institute.

After leaving the institute and relocating back to CT she connected with Harry Brown, Jean Shinoda Bolen and Jackie Shift leading her to incorporat­e spiritual and healing energy into her practice. This led her to develop her own style including Re-parenting Healing. Later in life she found herself searching for teachers from the East which led her to establish relationsh­ips with Gurus Desange and Norbu, which led her to be emersed in the Tibetan Teaching which connected her to the Dali lama and his brother. Her involvemen­t in politics on behave of Tibet and local politician­s are well known in the State of Connecticu­t. Additional­ly, she remained devoted practition­er of Judaism. Sandra will be remembered for her compassion, devotion to her family, friends, patients and her many dogs and cats, not necessaril­y in that order.

Tamar would like to thank her many Doctors, including Dr. Steven Thau- pulmonary magician, friends and aids Jerusa, Bernadette and Caroline who cared for her daily.

Burial services will be private, in Stanford. Celebratio­n of life will take place at her home 1000 Smith Ridge Road, New Cannan CT., this Sunday February 18 at 1:30.
