Paul Hudyma, 81, beloved husband to Nancy (Lattanzio) Hudyma, of Wethersfie­ld passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2024. Born to the late Paul and Helen (Dombrowski) Hudyma, Paul served in the U.S. Army Reserves after graduating high school, before beginning his career as a skilled mechanic and retiring from Winding Brook Turf Farm. For many years, Paul helped at his family farm in East Lyme. Paul will be remembered as a skilled mechanic and the perfect builder who could figure out and fix anything. He will also be remembered for his love of hunting, fishing, all things racing, NASCAR and dirt cars, the Kansas City Chiefs, and food, especially Italian and Polish food.

Paul leaves behind his loving children, David Hudyma and Amy Hudyma, his brother, Robert, his brother-inlaw, John (Jean) Lattanzio and sister-in-law, Angela Curtis, as well as his nieces, nephews, cousins and all extended family. Besides his parents, Paul was predecease­d by his brother, Richard, his sister, Linda and his nephew, Jeffery Curtis.

The family is very grateful for and would like to extend their thanks to the staff at Hartford Hospital ICU, the UCONN ICU, Dr. Robert Piorkowski, the Amberwood staff, LAZ parking for all their help, and the Totten family for always being there.

Friends may call on the Hudyma family from 10:00am to 1:00pm on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at the Farleysull­ivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Road Wethersfie­ld, CT. “You are my heart and my soul and my best friend.
