Scott, Nateasa Elizabeth

-

Nateasa Elizabeth Scott, affectionately known as "Teasa," "Tease" or "T," passed away peacefully on March 5 after a courageous 14-year battle with stage IV breast cancer. Teasa was not only a talented and successful hair stylist at OGGI Salon & Spa for over two decades, but she was also a beacon of inspiration and resilience. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to her employers, Lorenzo & Jo, co-workers, and clients for their unwavering love and support throughout her journey. They allowed Teasa the space to heal after treatments and welcomed her back with open arms when she felt well enough to work. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Teasa found joy in life's simple pleasures. Whether she was out with friends, soaking up the sun at the beach, driving around in her jeep, indulging in retail therapy, or engrossed in a good book, she embraced every moment. Above all, her greatest joy was spending time with her son, Miles, who was her world and the driving force behind her valiant battle. Teasa approached life with a spirit of hard work, playfulness, and boundless love. She wore many hats - a devoted mom, daughter, niece, sister, aunt, cousin, partner, and friend - and she excelled in each role. Her absence will be deeply felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Teasa leaves behind a legacy of love and memories. She is predeceased by grandparents, Irving and Patricia Scott and Argentino and Mary Cianfaglione, her uncle James Scott, and uncle and cousin David Wiater, Sr. and David Wiater, Jr., with whom she shared many good times. Teasa is survived by her beloved son, Miles, her longtime partner, Shayne Braithwaite, "bonus" daughters, Olivia and Emma Braithwaite, Mile's grandmother Laury Braithwaite, her mother, Cherie Cianfaglione, her father Michael Scott and his wife, Leslie Namey-scott, her stepbrother, Peter Namey, her sister, Bree Pelczar and her husband Kevin Pelczar, her niece and nephew, Avery and Christian Pelczar, aunts Lorrie Tripp, Kathy Scott-royal, and Stacey Durso, cousin Tala Durso, and her aunt and second mom, Jeannette Wiater. She is also remembered by her extended family and loyal friends (Pauline Bevans, Alison Parlato, and Sanja Asentic to name just a few) who provided immeasurable support throughout her journey. Calling hours will be held on Friday, March 15, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Carmon Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Avenue, Windsor. A mass will be held on Saturday, March 16, at 12:30 p.m. at Saint Margaret Mary, 80 Hayes Road, South Windsor. In lieu of flowers, we kindly ask that you consider contributing to the Miles of Hope fund (https://gofund. me/c32e08d7), established to support Miles as he navigates life without his beloved mother.
