Pagni, Anthony D.

-

Anthony Daniel Pagni, 25, of Wethersfield, passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2024. Anthony was born on November 6, 1998, and was lovingly adopted by his late father, John Daniel “Dan” Pagni, and his mother, Andrea Autorino Pagni, D.V.M. In addition to his mother, Anthony is survived by his adoring brother, Samuel Pagni, his daughter River Davis, and a large extended family, including many aunts, uncles, cousins and his dogs, who brought him great joy.

Anthony openly and honestly struggled with his mental health and worked to find moments of peace and joy in life. In addition to his love of animals and the many that he rescued, he found peace in nature. Later in life, Anthony would spend time in Utah where hiking, horseback riding, woodworking and whitewater rafting brought him moments of happiness. Anthony thrived at the beach where he expertly fished and crabbed with his brother. He enjoyed time on the water either boating or riding jet skis. He watched many sunsets in Old Lyme, CT where he loved spending time with his parents. Anthony had a beautiful voice and was a talented musician, often sharing his gift and serenading guests at family gatherings.

The Pagni and Autorino Family would like to express their gratitude to the countless others who loved Anthony and supported him throughout his journey. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the House of Bread at 27 Chestnut Street, Hartford, CT 06120 or to AID-A-PET, a Hartford, CT 501(c)3 program that provides low-income Hartford residents feed and care for their pets at P.O. Box 503, S. Glastonbury, CT 06073. A private burial will be held by the family. The D’esopo Funeral Chapel, Wethersfield has been entrusted with the arrangements.
