Regina (Bossie) St. Jarre, 86, beloved wife of the late Donald St. Jarre, passed away peacefully on April 8th, 2024. Born in Fort Kent, Maine, January 25, 1938, and a longtime resident of Kensington; she was the daughter of the late Leo and Melonia Bossie. She worked at Fafnir Bearing for many years, and after retirement, she worked at SEMAC Electrical Contractor­s. She was a dedicated member and volunteer at St. Paul Church in Kensington for many years, as well as a member of the Women’s Auxiliary of St. Jean de Baptiste. She enjoyed gardening and hosting family gatherings. She was predecease­d by her brothers Paul, Leonard, Romain, Ronaldo, Normand, Orenie, Camille and Edgar Bossie; her sisters Juliette Bossie, Edwina Daigle, Lena Pelletier, and Cecile Voisine. She leaves behind her children Debbie Morin, of Forestvill­e, Brian St. Jarre and wife Nancy, Daniel St. Jarre and wife Lori, all of Kensington; two sisters Ella Dumond, of Berlin, and Bertha Bard, of Plainville. She also leaves her grandchild­ren, Desiree Ashborn and husband Nick, Amanda Salthouse and husband David, Shelby Morin and wife Jennifer Martin-morin, Monique St. Jarre, Gabrielle Pirruccio and husband Kevin, Reggie St. Jarre and wife Stasia, Tyler St. Jarre, as well as, greatgrand­children, Maverick and Weston Ashborn, Ella and Lily Salthouse, Logan and Jacob Morin, Emilia Pirruccio, Brandon Hovanak, and Colten St. Jarre. Funeral services will take place on April 15, 2024. Calling hours will be held from 9 to 11 am at the Farrell Funeral Home in New Britain, followed by an 11:30 Mass of Christian Burial at St. Paul Church in Kensington. Afterward, the entombment will take place in the St. Mary Cemetery Garden Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Connecticu­t Humane Society or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
