-

John D. Pizzanello, 41, passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at his home in Manchester. He was born August 6, 1982, in Hartford, CT.

John is survived by his beloved wife Sara. J. Pizzanello(andrews); his son, John A. Pizzanello; father, Ronald Pizzanello, and wife, Charlene; mother, Dianne Pizzanello; grandmother, Cathy Durdan; brother, Dominick, and wife, Sarah Pizzanello; nephew, Andrew Pizzanello, and niece, Isabelle Pizzanello; sister, Heather, and her husband, Richard Triblets Jr. John also leaves behind his best friend David Williams.

John was raised in South Windsor and attended South Windsor High School. John played many sports growing up with a passion for baseball playing AAU until 1997. John loved the Red Sox and Uconn Basketball; you could always count on him for any team stat or where they were in the standings at any given time.

John and Sara had a love like no other, they started their story at fifteen and welcomed their son on April 29, 2002. They married on May 19, 2006. John was a hopeless romantic when it came to Sara and anyone around them could feel the love they shared. John was a devoted father, who thought the world of his son. He loved nothing more than spending time with Johnny whether it be golfing or just sitting around talking about life together.

Maine was John's favorite place to vacation with his family loving the cold ocean swims and lobster at Barnacle Billy's. P-town vacations are memories that will live on forever. John loved a day at the beach or on the boat at the lake. He was the type of friend you wanted, he loved big and would go out of his way to do anything for you. Johnny Pizzanello had many friends far and wide. His love and affection for his closest and dearest matched no other by any comparison. Many attempts certainly fell short by more than we can measure. John's presence will never be forgotten, and he will always be loved so deeply by his closest friends, family and loved ones. He was the life of the party, blasting music and loved to dance. You could find John in the kitchen making his famous sauce, grilling, and watching all things Barstool Sports.

Family and friends are invited to the Tierney Funeral Home at 219 West Center Street Manchester, CT on April 20, 2024, from 12:00 to 2:00 pm to reminisce and honor the life of John. The burial will be private. Donations can be made to the American Cancer Society or the Humane Society. For online condolences, please visit www.tierneyfuneralhome.com.
