Matthew Willis Morin, MD (36) of Sherman Oaks, CA, beloved son of Lynn Willis Morin and Gerald E Morin of Manchester and brother of Brent Willis Morin of Sherman Oaks, CA and Jared Willis Morin of West Hartford, CT passed away March 27, 2024.

Born in Hartford September 20, 1987, “Mighty Matt” grew up in South Windsor, graduated with honors from South Windsor High School in 2005, then Boston University in 2010 where at one point he also worked as an EMT. He then took a year off to tour Europe with the skating show, Holiday on Ice, before attending medical school at Drexel University.

Matthew then did his residency at Cedars Sinai, Beverly Hills. He has been working as an OB-GYN doctor in CA where he is known not only for his skill but also for his warmth and compassion making him admired and beloved by both patients and colleagues.

Matthew's compassionate, loving and kind spirit made him always available to family and friends for medical consultation. He will be remembered for his deep love of his immediate and extended family.

He leaves his aunts, Judy Willis (Marc), Debbie Willis, Margot Willis-doyle (Peter), Patty (Morin) Mcbride (Vincent). uncles Peter Morin, Durward Willis (Carmel), James Willis (Wendy) His cousins Vinnie, Sean, Katie, Justin, Sara (Jason) , Mark, Brendan (Jenny), Dani (Jon), Jenna (Alex), Emily (Hardie), Benjamin (Nicki) and several great nieces and nephews and many close friends. The D'esopo East Hartford Memorial Chapel has been entrusted with the care of the funeral arrangements. There are no calling hours.
