Suzanne Brandt is ‘Realtor of Year’
The Santa Fe Association of Realtors awarded Suzanne Brandt, CRS SFR, with the 2018 Realtor of the Year award. With over 23 years of service as a Realtor in Santa Fe, Suzanne is affiliated with Coldwell Banker TrailsWest Realty and holds a qualifying broker’s license. She graduated from Stanford University and has served on the Coldwell Banker Executive Committee for over 10 years, offering her advice and leadership. She has been a board member with the Santa FeAssociation of Realtors aswell as serving on a number of committees, including education, property management council, professional standards, and grievance.
Suzanne serves on the board of Española Humane as secretary and has been involved for a decade. Her great passion for animals was passed along to her from her mother. She has been an active volunteer with Santa Fe Habitat for Humanity Women’s Build, Pancakes on the Plaza, and as an alum of St. Michael’s School. Her peers describe her as one of the most ethical, helpful and knowledgeable brokers in today’s real-estate community. Suzanne was raised in Santa Fe along with her brothers who remain in the area. According to Suzanne, she loves to travel and really became interested in NewMexico, its culture and history through her real-estate customers who have retired here and together they have explored all corners of the state.
The Realtor of the Year award is one of the highest honors given to a Realtor and is based on how he/she upholds and exemplifies the Realtor Code of Ethics, industry professionalism, participation in local, state and national Realtor associations, and community service.
Robert “Robbie” Dobyns SFR GRI, a Realtor with EXP Realty Santa Fe, received a lifetime achievement award honoring his commitment to real-estate education and development. Robbie has served in a wide variety of capacities during his long real estate career including president of the Santa Fe Association of Realtors, as a member of the board, and years of service on the executive, education, community services and government affairs committees. Mr. Dobyns was honored with the Associate Realtor of the Year award in 2004. His most recent volunteer service has been in helping to guide the development of a new Santa Fe Specialist Designation to enhance Realtors’ knowledge and understanding of selling properties in the Santa Fe historic and regulatory environment.
Drew Lamprich, a Realtor affiliated with Sotheby’s International Real Estate, was honored with the 2018 Rising Star award. Drew, one of SFAR’s newest and most engaging members, serves on the association’s board of directors and its membership committee and has had his license since 2016. He has a business background in home renovation and investment properties.
Lastly, ElisaMacomber with Showhomes of Santa Fe received the Affiliate of the Year 2018 award for her service to the real-estate community. Elisa has been an enthusiastic and dedicated volunteer on the association’s Affiliates Committee, offering support to a number of key association fundraising events. Within her field of expertise, Elisa has earned numerous awards, including “Best of Staging Design in Home Makeovers,” “Fastest Average Selling Time,” and “Circle of Excellence.”
This year’s awards event was held at the Eldorado Hotel and featured a kitschy, outer-space theme for Realtors and guests.
