89, of Pearl City, Hawaii died on Jan­uary 18, 2017. He re­tired as a Su­per­vi­sor in 1987 from Hawai­ian Telephone Co. after 30 years of ser­vice. He was also a long-time high school and col­lege base­ball um­pire and foot­ball ref­eree. He was proud to serve Univer­sity of Hawaii base­ball coach, Les Mu­rakami, as Com­mis­sioner of Um­pires for al­most a decade. Pre­ceded in death by his beloved wife, Wi­nona ’Pearl’ in 2013. He is sur­vived by four daugh­ters, three sons, fif­teen grand­chil­dren and four­teen great-grand­chil­dren. Vis­i­ta­tion 9:30am; Mass: 11:00am Wed­nes­day, Fe­bru­ary 22, 2017 at Our Lady of Good Coun­sel Church in Pearl City.
