UH men’s golfers tied for 16th place

The Univer­sity of Hawaii men’s golf team shot a se­cond-round 301 on Thurs­day and is tied for 16th at the John Burns In­ter­col­le­giate at Wailua Golf Course on Kauai. The Rain­bow War­riors are at 23-over-par 599. Hawaii Hilo is 18th and last at 619. Vir­ginia leads at 551. Hawaii’s lead­ing golfer is Cameron Kaneko, who is tied for 35th at 1-over 145. The Vul­cans’ leader is Jared Ki­noshita, who is tied for 68th at 149. Texas A&M’s Chan­dler Phillips leads at 133.
