NEW KENSINGTON, PA. >> A gas station is trying blue lights in its bathrooms to make it difficult for drug users to see their veins.

The Sheetz gas station chain has installed the lights at its New Kensington location as a pilot project.

Some doctors have doubts, saying drug users can feel for their veins when they can’t see them.

Westmoreland County has had 179 drug deaths this year.
