If your horse is fully sighted, take good care to keep him that way. • Remove all potentially eye-wounding hazards from his living environment. • Treat any eye wound as an emergency, and call your veterinarian immediately. • Ask your vet about vaccinating against leptospirosis, a major trigger of uveitis (moon blindness), the most common cause of blindness in horses worldwide.
