I really loved the “Be a Fit Rider” topics in the June issue. I was inspired to keep up my gym routine even with six days of riding a week. A gym was built recently right across the street from the stable where I board my horses—almost as if it were built just for me. I decided to approach going to the gym as part of my horsemansh­ip training regimen. I have to admit that after a full day of work at my day job and an evening spent riding and working the horses, it’s daunting to spend that extra hour working out. But once I walk through those gym doors, I’m fully charged and never regret taking that extra time. My riding stamina has improved, and I’m in better shape overall. Thanks for the inspiratio­n!
