Covering the Bases

As a subscriber to The Trail Rider magazine, I was upset when my subscription was changed and the magazine discontinued. Through the years, I’d whittled my subscriptions down to one, as multiple magazines would go unread. Trail and pleasure riding are my main disciplines. When I read the new

Horse&Rider magazine (I still had a partial subscription remaining), imagine my delight when I found wonderful articles on trail and pleasure riding, plus articles by clinicians whom I’ve followed for years, plus new names. I appreciate the diverse topics, from health of horse and rider to the collections on the back page. I’ve even been dealing with some health issues that have kept me out of the saddle for a while, so I find Amberley Snyder’s columns inspiring. Thanks for all the hard work; the magazine just seems to get better with each issue.
