This car was built in the mid1960s by my good friend Marv Stearns, who owned a Gulf station in Flint, Michigan. At the time this photo was taken, Charlie Williams had become my partner, and we raced in Comp Eliminator until 2000. It had a 427 with Crower injectors and cam. In B/A its best was 9.17 at 151. The car was originally built with a solid rear and leaf front end with zoomie pipes. The coilovers and headers came later.
