Wilson & Woods Cylinder Heads
“Hot rodders are always looking for something a little different,” said Mike Herman, owner of H&H Flatheads. And “different” certainly describes the look of these Wilson & Woods cylinder heads. Herman recently acquired the patterns for these heads, and they join the Navarro, Sharp, and Austin speed equipment now manufactured by the longtime flathead specialists. Originally made by the late Ken Klus and named after his dogs, the heads’ smooth design is a radical departure from traditional finned heads. The 24-stud heads are CNC machined from T6-tempered 356 aluminum and are designed to fit the 1949-1953 8BA flatheads.
