Real war-surplus aircraft seats are getting harder to come by, so if you don’t have a time portal to a 1950s airplane scrapyard, check out these bomber seats offered by Jegs. They are MIG welded using 0.100-inch-thick 5052-grade aluminum and are available in either natural aluminum or black finishes. The seats have a 21-inch-high back, a 24-inch depth, and an 18-inch hip width. Lap-belt openings are standard and are lined with molded rubber inserts. “Upholstery is unnecessary with the custom lightening holes,” says Jegs.
