Firm’s officers attend Board of Regents event
Cheri Fama, president and COO of John Daugherty, Realtors, and Alason Connell, manager and director of advertising, recently attended a Board of Regents and Luxury Real Estate conference in Scottsdale, Ariz.
John Daugherty, Realtors is Houston’s exclusive affiliate of the Board of Regents, a network of real estate brokers from across the U. S. and around the world.
John Daugherty, Realtors took advantage of the opportunity to maintain its buyer referral network and to maximize global exposure for its listings.
Seminars featured a host of speakers, each renowned in their area of expertise, and a host of topics, including social media, marketing and selling. Linda Cohn, ESPN “SportsCenter” anchor, offered an interesting look at ESPN and included tips on achieving success in any field.
Panel discussions included ideas about what type of marketing works best today as well as the importance of social media.
A common thread throughout the conference was the importance of maintaining relationships and providing superior service.
The conference concluded with an awards dinner where Patricia Petersen, president and CEO of Daniel Gale Sotheby’s International Realty, received Luxury Real Estate’s Lifetime Achievement Award. John A. Daugherty Jr., chairman and CEO of John Daugherty, Realtors, is a past recipient of the award.
