There is a new household member at the home of DonnaWarren, office administrator for Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Gary Greene, and her husband commercial insurance broker LonWarren.

This little reddish blonde fur- ball has four legs and occasionally barks.

TheWarrens recently lost their almost 18- year- old loving and loyal dog, Casey, and although they knew they could not replace him, they knew they could give a rescue dog a new home. And along came Chaser, who might be a two- year- old Norfolk Terrier mix.

He fit right in theWarren home from the very beginning. Chaser is keeping theWarrens in shape since they are now walking a younger dog through their neighborhood.

TheWarrens took Chaser to a special doggie hotel while they took a couple of days for rest and relaxation in New Orleans. The weather was great, and they enjoyed good food, including brunch in the FrenchMarket. They went on a cemetery and voodoo tour, walked along Bourbon Street and wandered in and out of shops.

Donna said Chaser was real happy to see them when they returned.

Athletics has been the name of the game at Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Gary Greene lately:

Jonathan Horton, son of Margo Horton in the CyFair office, is a two- time Olympian. He competed as a gymnast in this summer’s Olympics in London. Jonathan competes in all six men’s gymnastic events but his specialties are rings and high bars.

He qualified for the high bar individual event and placed sixth. The team placed fifth in the team finals. Horton accompanied him to London for this special event.

Austin Magruder of the Inner Lop office participated in this year’s Transplant Games of America in Grand Rapids, Mich., and brought home two medals in cycling. Austin received a kidney transplant in 2001.

Jenna D’Amico of the Champions office entered her first triathlon, the Bridgeland Triathlon in Cypress, in August.

It was a sprint consisting of a 550- meter swim, 12- mile bike ride and a 5k run, and she beat her two- hour goal by finishing in 1 hour and 50 minutes.

Monica Foster recently was featured in “Top AgentMagazine,” a real estate publication that is focused on professionals who make an impact in their local markets.

Foster, a broker/ associate with the RE/ MAX Space Center- Clear Lake office, has seen her business grow at more than 800 percent in the last four years, and she is rated as the No. 12 top producing RE/ MAX agent in the greater Houston area.

Foster started her business over in 2008 after relocating to Clear Lake from Dallas, where she worked as a Realtor Associate at a different RE/ MAX office.
