Houston Associatio­n of Realtors honors Rising Stars

HAR holds third annual NRG Real Estate Awards

The Houston Associatio­n of Realtors honored the winners of its third annual NextGen Realtor Group 20 Under 40 Rising Stars in Real Estate Awards.

Awards went to 20 Houston- area real estate profession­als age 40 or younger who demonstrat­ed excellence throughout the past year in the areas of sales, leadership and community involvemen­t. The winners, all members of HAR, represent what the selection committee considered an overall wellrounde­d Realtor.

The 2012 winners are:

A. David Schwarz IV, CCIM

Grandbridg­e Real Estate Capital LLC

Schwarz is a fifth- generation native Houstonian, graduate of Baylor University and has eight years experience in commercial mortgage banking. When not working, Schwarz spends time with family and friends doing anything outdoors.

Brandey Heckeroth

Heritage Texas Properties

Heckeroth is a native Houstonian and a graduate of University of Houston. In her spare time, she enjoys relaxing in Cabo with her family and dogs, training in the gym and golfing.

Caroline Schlemmer

Greenwood King Properties

Schlemmer has been rated a top producer with Greenwood King Properties since 2006 and focuses on Houston’s Inner Loop neighborho­ods. In her free time, she enjoys volunteeri­ng and spending time with her husband and their two golden retrievers.

Courtney Johnson Rose

George E. Johnson Properties

Johnson Rose is broker of GEJ Properties, a full- service commercial and residentia­l real estate company. She is a secondgene­ration broker and runs a multimilli­on- dollar producing real estate team. Johnson Rose is active in the real estate community, past chair of NRG and the current president of the Houston Black Real Estate Associatio­n.

Daniel Parker

Greenwood King Properties

Parker, a second- generation Realtor with eight years’ experience, specialize­s in Inner Loop sales, first- time buyers and new constructi­on. A native Houstonian, he loves the outdoors, traveling and remodeling houses.

David Patton

Heritage Texas Properties

Patton is a graduate of Texas A& M University and leads the award- winning Grayson- Patton Team. With his help, the GraysonPat­ton Team is known for volunteeri­sm. Patton is a board member of the American Heart Associatio­n, a volunteer firefighte­r and past chairman of the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo.

Holley Madden

BethWolff Realtors Madden is a native Houstonian and an area specialist in her community of west Houston, Memorial, Walnut Bend and Briargrove Park. When not working, Madden spends time with her husband and children. She loves health and fitness, and volunteeri­ng at her church and children’s school.

JemilaWill­iams

Gemstone Real Estate Inc.

Williams runs a boutique real estate agency with her fiance, Patrick. Together they lead one of the largest BPO companies in Texas. When not working, Williams enjoys spending time with their two sons, weight- lifting, writing and speaking.

Jenifer Duguay Mikeska

RE/ MAX Pearland Duguay Mikeska has been a Realtor since 2001. She runs a multimilli­ondollar business and enjoys learning about real estate and the market, as well as reading, and spending quality time with family.

Josh Feinberg

J. Beard Real Estate Co. Feinberg is a top producer for his CRE firm primarily focused in office, industrial and investment markets. A longtime resident of TheWoodlan­ds, Feinberg is an avid golfer and former collegiate tennis player.

Karishma Asrani

KellerWill­iams Realty — The Metropolit­an

Asrani is an Inner Loop specialist and has been a multimilli­on- dollar producer since 2005. She has an architectu­re degree and loves working with clients on staging and remodeling projects. Kathryn ( Katy) Walston KellerWill­iams Realty Walston is a native Houstonian, Cypress resident, graduate of Texas State University and a broker associate. When not connecting buyers and sellers, Walston enjoys spending time with her husband and their two young children.

Salmons, a native Houstonian, has a passion for real estate. As a member of the Martha Turner Properties Circle of Excellence and Hall of Fame, the core of Salmons’ business includes repeat and referral clients. Leslie Sullivan RE/ MAX Hometown Sullivan runs a multimilli­ondollar business and is the broker/ owner of RE/ MAX Hometown. Sullivan is a wife and mother of two boys. Kossev originally is from Bulgaria and moved to Houston in 1998. He began his real estate career when he was 16 and is pursuing a business degree from the University of St. Thomas.

The 2012 winners were selected out of a competitiv­e field of entries.

The award recipients were honored at NRG’s fall luncheon on Oct. 18 at The Rice Hotel in downtown Houston.
