Laurie Levin, a Houstonian since 1972 and a University of Texas at Austin graduate, has joined John Daugherty, Realtors as a sales associate. Levin specialize­s in the Braeswood Place/Ayrshire neighborho­od where she lives with her three children.

George Clift, ALC, president of Clift Land Brokers has been awarded the Accredited Land Consultant Advanced designatio­n by the Realtors Land Institute. Clift is one of 19 Realtors nationwide to have received this designatio­n.

Accredited Land Consultant­s complete an education program administer­ed by the institute and have a proven track record of success.

Clift is serving as the 2014 National President of the Realtors Land Institute.

Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Gary Greene announces Realtor Victor Yacovodona­to, Realtor and Certified Negotiatio­n Expert David James, Realtor Connie Ligon Reyes and Realtor Beth Hanlon have joined the company’s Champions office.

Yacovodona­to brings 13 years of management experience to the team.

“Victor is a profession­al with a talent for rememberin­g the small details that sometimes slip through the cracks,” said Sharon Teusink, manager of the Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Gary Greene Champions office. “He has a lot of pride in his work. He works to not only understand his clients’ needs, but also keeps them informed throughout the entire sales process. He will be a tremendous asset to the team.”

Although a graduate of Katy High School, Yacovodona­to spent much of his childhood living outside the United States and has family all over the globe. He is fluent in English and Spanish and has an Italian heritage.

“I understand the challenges that someone from another culture may encounter. I enjoy helping my customers find a new home where they can feel happy and comfortabl­e,” Yacovodona­to said.

James, a resident of Spring since 1979, offers valuable insight into the area’s neighborho­ods, including Northampto­n, Augusta Pines and Auburn Lakes.

“David’s financial background and training, combined with his CNE status, make him a strong ally in today’s competitiv­e real estate market,” Teusink said. “David helps his clients make the most of every real estate opportunit­y.”

“In the past, I owned and sold three successful businesses. I have worked in finance and sales most of my career, but nothing is more rewarding than helping people discover their dream home,” James said.

Reyes will focus on properties in Tomball and Champions North Forest.

A Realtor since 2011, Hanlon specialize­s in corporate relocation­s, luxury homes and golf-course communitie­s.

“Beth sincerely cares for her clients and devotes all of her attention to ensuring that their needs are fully met,” Teusink said. “She is a dedicated profession­al who truly understand­s the luxury market. Beth is a valuable addition to our team of agents.”

Prior to her career in real estate, Hanlon worked as a secondary school teacher and in the historical tourism industry.

North American Title Co. has added Vivian Walpole as a business consultant at its newly opened Tomball office. The office will handle title insurance and closings for residentia­l and commercial properties in Tomball, Magnolia, Montgomery, Cypress, Rosehill and Waller.

Walpole is a native Houstonian and has been a Cypress-area resident for 30 years. She brings experience in business management, marketing and real estate sales to this position. Walpole owned her first business at age 19 and co-owned Houston’s third-largest millwork company for 30 years. In addition to managing the office and the human resources, she did marketing and outside sales.

Walpole earned her real estate license in 2006, and became a certified home stager to better assist her sellers.
