The Concours d'Elegance of Texas
Come join one of the state’s largest celebrations of vintage motoring and see some of the world’s fastest cars at the third annual Concours d’Elegance of Texas, presented by Gullo Family Dealerships.
Visitors to the event, which runs from May 2-4, can look forward to a spectacular gathering of over 200 rare and exotic classic motorcars, sports cars and racers, all assembled in the glorious lakeside setting of La Torretta Lake Resort and Spa in Montgomery.
This Concours, known for its family-inclusive events, is part of The Houston Classic Motorcar Weekend — a celebration of the motorcar.
The weekend includes a Friday morning driving tour through the Piney Woods of Texas, followed by an afternoon of golf at the hotel, and a reception showcasing many of the Concours vehicles, as well as auction vehicles staged around the hotel marina.
Saturday’s events include Worldwide Auctioneers’ 13th annual catalog auction sale, The Houston Classic Auction, with more than 100 of the world’s finest and rarest motorcars lining up to go under the auction hammer.
Saturday’s events conclude with the “Cowboys and Cars Charity Strolling Dinner and Dance,” benefitting the Concours charities.
The Concours d’Elegance of Texas opens its doors on Sunday, May 4, showcasing some of the greatest cars on the planet, from collections around the country, to be judged for appearance, originality and provenance.
The event is held on the golf course and includes a car club display area as well as food, drink and exhibitors’ booths. Festivities include a flyover by the Lone Star Freedom Flight Formation and the judging awards presentation.
The Concours d’Elegance of Texas is a 501(c)3 nonprofit and is proud to support the Montgomery County Emergency Assistance (MCEA) in Conroe, the Holy Angels Residential Facility, and The Hagerty Education Program (HEP) as its primary charities. Since its inauguration, the Concours d’Elegance of Texas has raised more than $1 million.
