Wright’s clients see her passion for Houston real estate

- By Rebecca Maitland

When people describe Sharon Seline Wright, a Realtor with SSW Fine Properties/Keller Williams Metro, the first word they use is passion.

Passion comes from a strong feeling or strong belief, and this is what clients say sums up Wright and her love for real estate and her clients.

“I do love this industry. I sincerely love working with my clients, and I am passionate about finding the right home for them,” Wright said.

That passion drives Wright to go above and beyond for her clients. For example, Wright had clients from Canada, moving to Houston for the first time.

After several rushed days in Houston looking at homes, nothing worked, contract after contract was turned down.

The following weekend, a home went on the market on a day that Wright’s calendar was overloaded. Yet, she canceled everything and went to the house with her iPad. She knew this was the one, the perfect house for her clients. The family moved in on Dec. 30, and the moving trucks arrived from Canada. This is the third time in her career that she wrote a contract for clients without her clients previewing the home.

“I get nervous each time, but by the time they arrive in Houston to close on their home and I see the joy on their faces, I am thrilled they love the house!” Wright said.

Her passion reaches out to much more than her clients. Wright currently serves on the Agent Leadership Council with Keller Williams. She also heads up the Health and Wellness committee for over 500 agents, and she also teaches.

“I love teaching new agents as well as seasoned agents. For me it is all about sharing my knowledge and experience, to help other agents provide the best possible service to our clients, which is important to all on the Keller Williams team,” Wright said.

Wright works with those from all walks of life and all price points.

“First-time home buyers are the most interesting and the most nervous. Before we go out to view homes, I connect them with a lender to get an approval letter and then we spend time to go over their goals,” Wright said.

The second- or thirdtime home buyer usually knows what they want, she said, but this is not neces- sarily easier.

“It means I have to stay on top of the game daily and jump on the exact home they want on a moment’s notice,” Wright said.

Wright is a native Houstonian, and has more stories about Houston than most.

She also knows the city and surrounding areas and will take clients to Galveston or The Woodlands and every place in between. She goes where her clients want to go, and she loves every minute of it.

“My support base is amazing. My son, Allen Saper, is my business partner and my husband is my emotional support. So my family keeps me going when the days are long and the hours begin adding up, but I would not have it any other way.

“Again, I really love what I do,” Wright said.
