Stamos cited for DUI in Beverly Hills

Actor John Stamos was home Saturday after being arrested and cited with driving under the influence in Beverly Hills.

Beverly Hills police said they received calls around 7:45 p.m. Friday reporting a possible drunken driver. Officers later stopped Stamos, who was the only person in the vehicle.

Stamos, 51, was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center because of a possible medical condition, police said. At the hospital it was determined by police that Stamos had been driving under influence, and he was arrested. Police cited him for DUI and released him to the care of the hospital.
