Woodson’s Reserve is served by a strong combination of public and private educational institutions including the Conroe Independent School District and Rice University.

Ann K. Snyder Elementary School works interdependently, giving students the building blocks of critical skills, creativity and collaborative thinking. Students will learn the value of giving back to the community by participating in activities such as Celebrate Freedom Week. Parents are invited to play an active role in their child’s learning through the active Parent Teacher Organization.
Cox Intermediate School aims to build a solid foundation of learning tools and values for all students. In addition, the Texas Education Agency ranked Cox Intermediate in the top 25 percent in the areas of Student Progress and Closing Performance Gaps.
York Junior High School offers a wellrounded curriculum of academic, athletic and artistic options. With clearly defined goals, York prepares students to thrive in an everchanging society through teamwork and high standards.
Oak Ridge High School provides a diverse range of academic and elective options. Students are encouraged to take advantage of a variety of instructional approaches, including Advanced Placement, dual-credit courses, pre-AP and honors courses, as well as individually modified curriculum options for special needs students.
While Woodson’s Reserve is within Conroe ISD, there are several private schools offering both primary and secondary education in proximity to the community, including Providence Classical School, The Woodlands Christian Academy, and The John Cooper School.
Residents of Woodson’s Reserve are accessible to three major universities and community colleges including the University of Houston, Rice University, Texas A&M, the Houston Community College System, and Lone Star College.
