Knight works with range of properties in hot Houston market

- By Rebecca Maitland

Wade Knight, an award-winning Realtor in his 16th year with Martha Turner Sotheby’s International Realty, knows Houston.

His knowledge of the most popular neighborhoods is comprehensive, and includes residential mid- and high-rise buildings, single-family homes, townhomes, and multifamily properties.

“Houston’s skyline is quickly becoming midand high-rise, more so than ever before. For years, high-rise living in Houston did not take off like in other large cities. That has quickly changed. The demand for these living spaces continues to be very trendy and popular with those from all walks of life and all age groups,” Knight said.

Most people looking at buying a home, usually consider safety as a priority. Living in a mid-rise/high-rise offers extra security due to the controlled entrance to the building.

Living in a mid-rise or high-rise is a luxury because some of these homes come with a higher price tag.

Yet, people want and enjoy all of the amenities that often go with these homes such as privacy, private elevators, great views, spas, pools, beauty shops, coffee bars, doormen, shops, valet service, dog walkers, gyms and more, all in the same building,” Knight said.

Houston has become an international city and many buyers are from cities where high-rise living is common, so they are looking for similar environments.

The rental market for apartments still seems to be booming as well.

There are new apartment complexes going up on most every corner in Midtown, Montrose and River Oaks.

People of all ages are continuing to flock to Houston, and it does not appear to be slowing down. People are moving here for many reasons and once they arrive, they stay.

“Houston has become a hip, trendy city that is still affordable comparatively to other cities. This city also has a lot to offer, from a great night life, best shopping and eateries, culture and arts, and anything anyone could want,” Knight said.

Knight, a native Houstonian, loves what he does and takes pleasure in giving each client the best possible customer service.

Wade’s personal attention to his clientele and their detailed needs has resulted in continued repeat business and ongoing direct referrals.

His professionalism and patience have made him a Martha Turner Properties Circle of Excel- lence winner every year since joining the company in 1999 and a member of the Martha Turner Properties Hall of Fame.

“My life is centered around my clients and ensuring smooth transactions. I love what I do, I love this business and work hard to ensure my clients receive personal attention and I meet their goals,” Knight said.
