Stephen Olson has joined Jones Day as a partner in the energy practice, where he will focus on energy industry mergers and acquisitio­ns, private equity investment­s, capital markets transactio­ns, and corporate governance matters.

Mary Jo Andre, a senior vice president at Texas Children’s Hospital, has been named the hospital’s chief nursing officer.

Mr. Peeples Restaurant announces the hiring of Keith Thompson as part of the executive management team and as a certified Sommelier. Thompson will be responsibl­e for overseeing the restaurant’s overall day-to-day operations and wine selection.

Gov. Greg Abbott has appointed Peggy Heeg to the Texas Lottery Commission. Heeg is a partner at Norton Rose Fulbright.

Eric Khan has joined Mercantil Commerceba­nk as vice president, middle market loan officer.

Melissa Marteeny has been named associate attorney for the Law Office of Kathryn Marteeny, which handles family law, estate planning, and probate.

Bryan Allen has joined Comerica Bank as banking center manager of its Memorial City banking center.

Theresa Gramlich has been named director of sales and marketing of the Embassy Suites by Hilton The Woodlands/Hughes Landing. The 205-room hotel is scheduled to open at Hughes Landing in The Woodlands this winter.

Suzanne Deliganis has been named director of sales and marketing of The Westin The Woodlands. The hotel is scheduled to open along The Woodlands Waterway in Waterway Square in January.

Keerthinid­hi Herle, a managing director in Accenture operations, has relocated to Houston from New York.

Susan K. Trentmann, a managing director in Accenture’s energy industry group, has relocated to Houston from Chicago.

Jay J. Hennings, a managing director in Accenture Digital, has relocated to Houston from Kansas City, Mo.

Bryan Loocke has joined Vinson & Elkins as a partner in its energy transactio­ns practice, where he will advise corporate and private equity clients in the energy sector.
