Former photographer captures real estate success
People often ask Michelle Cecil, a Realtor with Coldwell Banker United, Realtors, why she made the jump from full-time photographer to full-time Realtor.
“As a photographer, clients had to trust in me and my service enough to share some of the most important, intimate, once-in-a-lifetime moments, such as their weddings, birth of children, graduation, etc. Real estate is similar. It is important for people to trust me as a person as well as my knowledge, and experience as a Realtor, throughout one of the most important and possibly the largest investments of their lives,” Cecil said.
As a full-time professional photographer, Cecil honed her skills for attention to detail, organization, being on time, exceeding expectations, communica- tion skills in working with a diverse clientele, and producing quality work.
“In photography, I was capturing memories that would last a lifetime. In real estate, I am helping clients find the perfect home to create those memories,” Cecil said.
Cecil’s main focus area is primarily the west side, and from Conroe in the north to Pearland in the south.
“Being born and raised here and living in different parts of the city has allowed me to know many areas,” Cecil said.
However, today Cecil and her husband live closer to Katy, and enjoy the vast amenities.
Her real estate skills, such as being market savvy, professional, easy to work with, and her passion for the goals of her buyers and sellers have led to numerous awards, such as the Rising Star Award for the past two years, Multi-Million Dollar Producer award this past year and others.
Cecil is known for keeping her word, enjoying exceeding expectations and going the extra mile for clients. She is also bilingual in Spanish/English.
“It is worth it to me, regardless of the price point of the transaction, to work hard and provide consistent customer service to everyone I work with. I strive in building strong relationships with my clients, and those in this industry, which is essential to meeting my clients’ goals,” Cecil said.
