Berkshire Hathaway HomeServic­es gets ‘Rev’d Up’ at annual convention

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServic­es, part of the HSF Affiliates LLC family of real estate brokerage franchise networks, held its annual sales convention March 6-8 at Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas. More than 3,400 real estate profession­als from across the U.S. attended the event, including over 150 agents from Berkshire Hathaway HomeServic­es Anderson Properties.

This year’s event was themed, “Rev’d Up 2016,” which symbolized the excitement and enthusiasm exhibited by Berkshire Hathaway HomeServic­es agents. Attendees heard brand updates, participat­ed in workshops and discussion­s, and connected with network colleagues. The brand’s leading sales profession­als for 2015 also were recognized on stage and during events.

Attendees gained insight from keynote speakers Billy Beane, the Oakland Athletics EVP of baseball operations and best-selling author of Moneyball; and Sally Hogshead, a communicat­ions and branding profession­al. As part of its education track at the convention, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServic­es provided Certified Internatio­nal Property Specialist (CIPS) designatio­n training, which helps agents prepare to conduct business with internatio­nal home buyers and sellers. Berkshire Hathaway HomeServic­es will begin global expansion in 2017.

Gino Blefari, chief executive officer for HSF Affiliates, said energy exhibited at the convention was impressive.

“The sales convention was perfectly themed,” he said. “Our sales profession­als are constantly moving forward and focusing on ways to become better, stronger and wiser for their clients and constituen­ts.”
