Hanna keeps resale in mind for buyers
Susan Hanna, Realtor with Greenwood King Properties, helps guide her buyers into homes that will have a healthy resale value.
“My father used to say ‘anything bought right is half sold.’ If you make a smart purchase in the beginning, it will be easier to sell when your needs or circumstances change,” Hanna said.
Hanna also assists her sellers with many marketing services.
“One of those marketing services includes two hours of staging. I have a wonderful woman I work with, Maria Elena Herbst, who has a fantastic eye for detail. I am always amazed at how much difference just a little staging can make,” Hanna said.
Hanna grew up in Ada, Oklahoma. After college, she made her home in Oklahoma City. However, her family relocated to Houston in 2000 due to her husband being in the energy industry. The move gave her an opportunity to change careers. She chose real estate because of her love of homes and a passion for remodeling. So real estate was a perfect fit.
“My love of real estate began with my love for houses of all sizes, shapes and styles. I spent many Sundays in Oklahoma City at open houses. I love remodeling, when a home gets repurposed. I also love helping families and I have a special soft spot for families relocating,” Hanna said.
Prior to moving to Hous- ton, Hanna worked as a chartered financial analyst and a certified public accountant (CPA). With this experience, she is known for being financially astute and able to help her clients with this part of their real estate transaction.
Hanna also has been on both sides of the table many times when it comes to buying and selling real estate.
“We have lived in four homes in 16 years, so I understand what my clients are going through when they are buying and/or selling,” Hanna said.
All of her skills and experience, as well as her exceptional personal traits have led her to being a top producer at Greenwood King Properties for many years. She is also active in her community, giving back to the adopted city she loves.
