Wortham Insurance has elected a new associate director and casualty expert, Alison Schwab, to join its Houston headquarte­rs.

CHI St. Luke’s Health– Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center has appointed

Dr. William Brien as its interim president. Brien also serves as vice president of medical operations and chief clinical officer at Baylor St. Luke’s. Yvonne Nagy has returned to HOKas the architectu­re and engineerin­g firm’s Gulf Coast regional health care leader.

Kelley Cain has joined the Hallaron Advertisin­g Agency in The Woodlands as senior art director. Cain manages the creative team developing client branding and advertisin­g. Terry Hemeyer, executive counsel at Pierpont Communicat­ions, has been appointed as a lifetime member of the advisory council for Moody College of Communicat­ion at the University of Texas at Austin.

Schlageter has joined Smith Seckman Reid as a principal for the commission­ing program in its Houston office. Smith Seckman Reid provides engineerin­g, commission­ing and technology services worldwide.

Karen “Kim” Vidor was installed as the 2016-2017 president of the Houston Junior Forum, a woman’s service organizati­on celebratin­g its 70th anniversar­y. Vidor is a retired registered nurse of 28 years at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center.

Wasif Qureshi has joined Jackson Walker as a partner in the firm’s litigation group. William R. Peterson has joined Morgan Lewis as a partner in the firm’s appellate practice. Peterson, who served as a law clerk to Fifth Circuit Judge Edith Jones and to U.S. Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, has argued before the Supreme Court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and state courts of appeals.

Tripp Pruet has joined commercial real estate firm Savills Studley as assistant director for its Houston office. Angelina Hsieh has been promoted to leasing manager, central division, for PMRG’s Houston headquarte­rs office. Hsieh is responsibl­e for leasing and marketing a select portfolio of offices in Houston including Gateway I and II and 2350 North Belt Tower.

Hollingswo­rth, a partner and head of the public entities practice at Bracewell, will serve on the firm’s six-member management committee.

Aqua America announced the election of Carolyn J. Burke, executive vice president, business operations and systems at Dynegy, as a director.
