HomeAid Care project bringing new life to Santa Maria Hostel

-

Years ago, HomeAid Houston identified the valuable services that Santa Maria Hostel provides for women struggling to regain self-worth and hope for a better future. This commitment also extends to mothers and their children in crisis who are facing homelessness.

HomeAid, A 501 (c) (3) charity of the Greater Houston Builders Association (GHBA), is partnering with GHBA members to improve Santa Maria’s Bonita House to enhance the lobby area that receives new families, and is the contact point for the day-to-day operations of the facility. HomeAid board member, Leslie King with Greymark Construction is heading up the project. Work will include rebuilding the reception area desk, providing storage and new paint. “HomeAid is again honored to have Leslie King spearhead this HomeAid Care project,” said Cindy Hinson, president of HomeAid Houston. “She has been involved in countless HomeAid projects that have added new life to rooms and spaces meant to provide caring services to individuals and families facing homelessness.”
